Bruce Saltzman, CFAHead of ETF Capital Markets

Bruce is a Managing Director at State Street Global Advisors and serves as the Head of ETF Capital Markets for the SPDR business in the Americas. In this role, Bruce is responsible for defining and leading the strategic direction of our Capital Markets business in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Latin America. More specifically, he and team seek to create an efficient and robust ETF ecosystem to promote and support ETF liquidity in partnership with the broker dealer, market making, exchange and regulatory community. In addition, Bruce is a member of the State Street Global Advisors and SPDR Senior Leadership Teams.
Prior to this role, Bruce was responsible for managing sell side relationships with institutional sales and trading, electronic market making, program trading, securities lending, options, derivative and research desks on behalf of the SPDR ETF business.
Bruce earned a BA in Psychology from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine and is a CFA Institute Charterholder and member of the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA). Furthermore, he holds the FINRA series 7, 24, 55 and 63 licenses.
Colin IrelandHead of SPDR Americas Sales Execution and Implementation, SSGA

Colin is the Head of the Sales Execution and Implementation Strategy within the Global SPDR Business of State Street Global Advisors. The Sales Execution Team delivers ETF trading expertise to clients and promotes the use of ETFs in the derivative and broker dealer trading community. The Institutional Strategy Team provides in-depth ETF product expertise and due diligence support for key account relationships. In addition, Colin publishes thought leadership content related to the ETF industry.
Before joining State Street, Colin worked in sales and trading at BGC Partners and Guggenheim Securities. Prior to that, Colin held various roles in ETF and equity derivative sales and strategy at UBS.
Colin holds an MBA from St. John’s University, a BS in Accounting from the State University of New York at Geneseo and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Scott ChronertHead of ETF Research, Citigroup

Scott Chronert is a Managing Director and Global Head of ETF Research. Since 2012, Scott and his team have pioneered sell-side, institutional grade, analysis of the ETF ecosystem. His product covers all facets of ETFs, including: broader industry trends, flow analysis, stock and market impacts, complemented with positioning views covering most asset classes and geographies. The US ETF research product serves as a prototype for initiatives expanding Citi’s ETF research footprint into EMEA and Asia Pac. In addition to his ETF work, Scott is also Citi’s US Small/Mid Cap Strategist, and contributes to Citi’s global equity strategy product. Scott spent over 25 years in Institutional Equity Sales and Management roles (mostly at Citi) prior to joining Citi Research in 2010. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College (AB 1978) and UCLA Graduate School of Management (MBA 1980)
Citi was recently named “Global ETF Research Provider of the Year 2019” and “US ETF Research Provider of the Year 2019” by ETFexpress.
Alexander AltmannAmericas Head of Equity Trading Strategy, Citi

Alexander is responsible for single-stock, macro thematic and derivative idea generation to internal and external client base using proprietary research, overlaid with quantitative analysis including style factor modelling, short-interest data, volatility analysis, credit-equity correlations, and macro overlay. Alexander also provides event-driven counsel on special situations, pre-event and risk arbitrage trades as part of the Central Risk Desk. Ideas are disseminated via his weekly Citi Edge and ad hoc publications, which has become a flagship product within Citi Equities.
Prior to joining Citi, Alexander was a portfolio manager for 5 years, running a fund focusing on fundamental special situations, value + catalyst and distressed events. Alexander started his career at JPMorgan in cash and derivative sales. He graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA Joint Honours in French and Economics.
